• Once again, the MGO is hosting a picnic for the graduate students, faculty, and staff of the Math Department! It is a friendly gathering to get to know others in the department, enjoy good food, and even some hiking, bocci, or soccer. It will take place at the Pratt's Falls picnic shelter on Saturday, October 3, starting at 11:30am. The park is an easy drive from the university area; here is a link to directions from the university library. Pratt's Falls is a lovely county park south of Syracuse, and is fast becoming our traditional picnic grounds. There will be vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available, including plenty of burgers and sausages. Feel free to bring food if you wish: everyone always enjoys more options!
